If you want to claim a free Steam game, now is your chance, but you need to act fast to avoid the disappointment of missing out.
It always piques our interest when we hear that there’s a free video game that we can claim, whether we play on PC, PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo. I would say mobile, but there are already tons of free games on that device, for better or worse.
The free game that is the topic of this article can be claimed on the PC platform Steam right now, but it’s only available for a limited time. So, it might be best to act now, rather than later.

The free game in question is an indie title developed by Ritual Games called Paradox Soul; released in 2018, it's a single-player ‘metroidvania’ action platformer inspired by retro games of yesteryear.
“Hello Agents. Suit up and get ready — Paradox Soul now comes with Steam Trading Cards,” reads the description of the game on Steam. “Dive deeper into the mystery and unlock exclusive rewards as you uncover the secrets buried in this chilling metroidvania adventure.”
Typically, Paradox Soul sells for a very modest £4.29, but from now until 17 June 2025, you can download and keep it for free.
“Hopefully, it's worth the $0.00 that I spent on it,” said a sarcastic user.

“Good, short, puzzly,” said KeytarCat. "Not my best $5, but certainly not my worst. Fine pixel art, reasonable feel to weapons and movement, with only a few difficult movement puzzles.”
It might be worth mentioning that Paradox Soul only has a “Mixed” Steam user review rating. However, if this game isn't your cup of tea, you can just delete it and never play it again. After all, it won't cost you a penny if claimed before the free offer expires.
