Although the latest Steam Next Fest has come to an end, there are still plenty of great demos to download and try out.

One particular demo caught our eye, and upon reading the Steam reviews for this two-hour experience, we’re eager to play.

You can play Hotel Galactic on Steam today

Hotel Galactic is exciting plenty of players since the developer, Ancient Forge, released their two-hour demo.

One Steam user sums this up as an “Excellent cozy demo.”

It certainly looks it, with a wonderful anime art style, some delightful management options for your hotel, and the beginnings of a heartfelt story winding through the pivotal moments in this hotel’s opening.

As with many other cosy sims, your task is to renovate a run-down business, and of course, you’ll be meeting some very interesting and unique characters along the way.

The Steam pages synopsis reads, “Help Gustav and Maklo run the hotel amidst the lively chaos of nightly guest arrivals. Expand the building, craft furniture, and tend to your backyard farm while meeting travellers from all across the galaxy.”

And this premise, along with engaging game mechanics, has already made fans.

“I backed this game on Kickstarter and I have to say I'm thrilled with this demo!” exclaims one player, who ran the demo on their Steam Deck and saw it performing wonderfully.

Another Steam user was surprised by the amount of story contained in the demo, saying, “I didn't expect this game to be so story driven.”

If you’re eager for a new management sim, with bags of heart, wrapped up in some lush visuals, Hotel Galactic is one you should put on your wishlist today.

The full game is due out some time this year, though no firm date has been planned.

For now, you’ll have to make do with the demo and get to know the world, the galaxy, and the hotel.
