Steam users have nine free games they can add to their libraries right now, and while they’re not the best of the best, they’re free nonetheless.
If you want more substantial freebies Steam isn’t the place to look, for that you’d want The Epic Games Store, but for indies and shorter games it’s pretty good. Without further delay let’s dive right in as there are a lot of games to talk about.
First up is Lucid Clowder, described as a “fast paced weapon based movement shooter” with a unique appearance. Looks a little right around the edges but it’s in early-access so we’ll forgive it.
Second is Monster Girl Manor, a game where you’ll interact with some colourful characters in what I can only imagine to be some sort of dating game, if that’s your cup of tea.

Next is Memoria Altera, a puzzle game with an artstyle I actually quite like. You're tasked with completing the puzzles found in a cold, dark laboratory to uncover your forgotten identity.
We have Ondine: Prototype next, and I’m going to let its description do the talking. “Collect souls, level your weapons, and unleash devastation in one of the most mechanically complex 2D shooters ever made.”
This next one looks really good. It’s called Unknowz and it’s a cooperative game about two pirates, giving It Takes Two vibes. Both playable characters have unique abilities and must combine them to solve various puzzles and overcome obstacles.
Keep ‘Em Out is next, and it’s pretty straightforward. It’s a simple zombie survival game similar to Call Of Duty: Zombies, so if you liked that game mode you might like this.

Next we have DashFire, described as a “fast-paced arena-style shooter with an emphasis on movement.” Could be a good one to play with friends.
We’re nearly done, but now we have The Wind and the Wisp. This one says “Join the Wind, a non-corporeal petal breeze, and the Wisp, a little white ghost with a red ribbon, on their journey to repair a mysterious broken garden,” which sounds very cute.
Finally we have GuraQuest, a very simple 2D platformer that’s very short too. It’s got a cute aesthetic though so check it out.
That’s all there is, all nine games are free to download and play right now so don’t miss out.
