A new free demo has been released on Steam, and it’s something you could lose your whole free time to.
Game demos have been around for decades, but discovering new ones has never been easier thanks to how decent the Steam store is for promoting new free downloads.
Being able to download fresh demos at the click of a button means potentially losing an entire afternoon to something you think looks particularly interesting.

Ambrosia Sky looks like a mix of Powerwash Simulator and Viscera Cleanup Detail, where you’re tasked with cleaning up after a deadly contamination has taken over a space station.
You play as Dalia, who has returned to her home in the outer rings of Saturn to find disaster aboard the space station.
Ambrosia Sky mixes cleaning gameplay, where you’re mopping up messes left behind, and uncovering the mystery behind what exactly has happened. You’ll need to balance this with some light puzzle-solving, exploring zero-gravity environments, and laying the dead to rest.
Developer Soft Rains also describes the game as an “immersive sim”, which immediately caught my ears and got me to download the demo and see it for myself.

If you want to check it out for yourself, you can download the Ambrosia Sky demo from the Steam store page.
The demo features two levels from the full game to explore, as well as a small taste of gameplay. You’ll be able to craft several items, as well as complete the first Death Ritual of the game. It also includes a sample of upgrades from the full progression system.
There isn’t a release date for Ambrosia Sky confirmed yet. The game’s Steam page simply states that it’s “Coming Soon”, so we’ll wait for an official announcement and hope that "soon" is closer than we think.
