Steam drops 9/10 free game you definitely missed

Speed your way over to Steam

Nobody likes missing out on great games, though it’s so easy to do in the current gaming landscape, which is why it’s handy that Steam is giving this one away for free.

Let’s be honest, we’re not going to get another Titanfall game anytime soon, so perhaps the next best thing is this freebie that looks like it pulls inspiration from that amazing parkour shooter.

OAsys - Speedbots Tournament can be added to your library today, to keep forever, and you don’t have to pay a single penny.

It’s a blend of fast-paced shooting, paired with things like wall-running and sprinting between targets, with dash movements to zip side-to-side.

Watching the trailer evokes similar feelings to seeing Titanfall 2 in motion, and it may tickle your fancy if you’re itching for a frenetic shooter with great movement.

There’s a full campaign, a “level-chaining’ mode which takes you back to the start of the game if you die, and there’s a leaderboard to compete with friends.

Don’t take my word for it, as I’m yet to try it out, but plenty of Steam users are leaving positive reviews.

“Definitely a good parkour shooter game where you need map awareness,” says one player.

While another notes, after clocking in over 35 hours on the game, “One of the best speedrun games I've ever seen. I really love it.”

This is not one to miss if you’re into your unique shooters, and the visual design has some flair to it, with bright colourful landscapes and robotic characters to control.

With a lot of recommendations, and several people calling the game “neat” or “fun,” you might as well grab it for free and give it a spin.

Of course, if you do miss out on this, or fancy something AAA, then I’ll drop a Titanfall mention one more time.
