Steam has dropped eight free brand-new games that you can download now and keep forever.
The Steam store can be a wonderful place to find tons of PC releases, whether it’s AAA big hitters, indie darlings, retro classics, or to add new content via DLC for a game we want more of.
It can also be a great place to find free playable demos and trials, granting us an opportunity to sample a game before parting with our hard-earned cash.
With that in mind, as brought to our attention by the Twitter account ‘Free Steam Games,’ here are eight games that you can download today and keep forever:
Advert
- Bloodquest From HELL: “Is a first-person exploration game made in Unreal Engine. You play as a humble fry cook who must journey through a mysterious portal in order to keep your job.”
- Syncers: “Welcome to Syncers - A 1-man, low-poly, space brawler from the depths of indie space. No more dopamine-drenched, ad-bloated, battle-pass nightmares. This is browser PvP warfare. It's what you've been waiting for, but didn't know existed.”
- Space Ace: “Is a 2D top-down shooter that focuses on upgrading your ship to fight through levels of Bosses and smaller enemies. Play with keyboard and mouse, or Xbox controller.”
- Hold Me Still: “Is a point-and-click puzzle mystery game where you investigate your friend's disappearance by exploring their house, collecting clues, solving puzzles, and uncovering the truth.”
- Tiris: “Infiltrate Tiris Cathedral and recover your beloved's soul in this medieval, lowdark fantasy top-down shooter. Deal with hordes of enemies, solve the puzzles that block your path, and free your loved one and the people from the tyranny of the Necromancer and his commanders.”
- Digging Dogs: “This is the sacred ground where players scream about drop rates, flex their Ultra Rare Lizard Bone, and submit bone ideas cursed enough to make it into the game. Want your radioactive corn dog bone added? Pitch it. Found a bug where your dog ascends to bone heaven? Show us.”
- FlushFall: “In this game, your goal is to battle the other 99 toilets on the map until you're the last toilet standing! Why Toilets? Why are you fighting? How did you get here? These are the questions that go unanswered the entire game.”
- Cube1 vs Cube2: “Is a fast-paced local multiplayer action game where two (or up to four!) players face off in chaotic duels using a massive arsenal of weapons across wild, gimmick-filled arenas. Jump, dash, shoot, and outsmart your opponents in high-stakes battles where every move counts.”
So, there you have it, hopefully, at least one of the above games will keep you busy, even for a short time.
