We may be just a few days into June but that has not stopped Steam from adding another batch of exciting free titles to its PC storefront.

Being a PC gamer definitely pays off when Steam regularly adds brand-new games to its storefront that not only give you the chance to try out incredible games ahead of their full launch, but also sees you not have to spend a penny on full releases.

So if you are in the mood to check out a narrative-driven walking simulator, an action hack-and-slash, a non-competitive word game, or a puzzle game, then stay tuned to learn more.

First up is The Falling Star, a brand-new first-person and narrative-driven walking simulator from developer Yeariver.

A girl embarks on a journey to follow in the footsteps of her mother’s last wish but along the way, she will uncover the truth about her missing aunt’s past.

Set in a fragmented dreamscape, this story is perfect for those who enjoy introspective storytelling and atmospheric exploration.

Next is the action hack-and-slash Sporeborne by developer Pannukakku Productions.

In this top-down title, you will play as an estranged mutation of a fungus infesting a planet.

So it will be up to you to embark on a journey to cut down your enemies, grow more powerful, and uncover new abilities as you traverse an infested land.

If you want something a bit more relaxing, you can check out Obgoose.

If you are still a dedicated Wordle player, then you will love this non-competitive word game from Grau Games.

As a variation of Scrabble, you can play at your own pace as you push your vocabulary to its limit.

Last but not least is Gear Combination, a puzzle game where you will need to combine gears of different sizes to reach a target rotation speed.

As time goes by, you can place gears and watch them spin as you take on multiple quests that are simple yet strategic.

“Perfect for gear lovers”.

All of the above titles are available to enjoy now.
