Steam users can claim four free extra games today on PC, including a 10/10-rated roguelite.
You’ll never see us turn our noses up at a good video game freebie on Steam, especially when it concerns one that is highly rated by the community, and if roguelite games such as Hades, The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth and Slay the Spire are your cup of tea, then look no further than what’s offered in this article.
As brought to our attention by Free Steam Games, the first indie freebie is the aforementioned 10/10 roguelite called Duster Buster, developed and published by FireDog.
“Fight dusty furniture, survive quick runs on a linear map, unlock upgrades, and uncover the mansion’s secrets in fast, repeatable play sessions,” reads the synopsis of the game.

Duster Buster has nostalgic 2D sprite visuals, reminiscent of the 1990s, and it's described as a short game where you have to fight furniture in a ghostly mansion, as you aim to survive quick runs on a linear map. Out of 10 written user reviews on Steam, it has scored a 100% positive rating.
Next up, we have VampireBlaze, developed and published by dhr-Lab, a retro-inspired side-scrolling action game inspired by Konami’s Castlevania series. VampireBlaze features over 10 stages and deadly enemies; your combat skills will be put to the test with this demonic freebie.
Dreams Far Away is developed by Shalix and published by VLK Gaming, and is a basic, but perhaps fun, racing game where you traverse across floating furniture and avoid deadly traps. Hey, it sounds a bit wacky, but it is free.
Finally, developed and published by Hong Kong Gamestar Limited, the last Steam freebie in this article is Derby's Tycoon Online, and it’s absolutely one for fans of the retro strategy series, SimCity. Only in this offering, you’re a budding horse race trainer who aims to build the biggest empire in the industry. Again, it all sounds a bit wacky, but it’s free and looks like it could be fun.
