Steam drops 3 free gifts, available for limited-time only

It’s time for a new Steam Fest, this time focusing on horror-centric vampire and zombie titles.

Not only does this mean that Steam has lots of discounts on banger games, but you can also get some sweet freebies for simply existing, which is nice.

Which freebies are they? Well, I’m glad you asked, because nobody else pays any attention to me.

You’ve got until the Steam Fest ends to grab these new avatars and a particularly ghoulish frame, too.

You can see them over on Twitter, thanks to a helpful user, but I will now go into extreme detail on these avatars and frames because I have to fill the word count.

First up is a zombie avatar that shows a red-tinted image of a puzzled looking zombie with only one eye.

I’m not sure if he looks puzzled because he only has one eye, or because he’s a zombie and was previously a vegetarian.

There are a couple of flies buzzing around him, so I guess he’s been dead for some time.

Next, there’s the other half of the sale theme, in the vampire.

This guy looks devious as hell, with his slicked-back hair and smirk, he’s also got the whole cocked eyebrow thing down.

He’s not a sexy vampire, unless you’re into sleazy looking dudes who could be found outside the corner shop talking to teenagers.

Oh, and there’s a nice frame to go around either of these avatars or one of your choosing - it’s a ribbon of blood that looks all goopy and drippy.

I’d imagine this will be perfect to roll out around Halloween, or if you’re a big horror fan.
