Steam gamers warned they've 24 hours left to grab 3 free downloads

Steam gamers are spoiled rotten when it comes to free downloads, although you've gotta stay frosty to know when a certain promotion is about to come to an end.

While PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass are great when it comes to delivering big meaty games to play every month, it's not exactly free when you're paying a monthly fee.

Steam, on the other hand, is great for dropping free games and bonuses that rarely require any kind of subscription or hidden payment.

You may have missed it, being the busy gamer you are, but Steam is currently holding a special Planes, Trains, And Automobiles Fest. But it doesn't go on for much longer!

From now until 23 September there are discounts, demos, and promotions on games with "any form of transportation", but if you've clocked your calendar you'll probably be aware 23 September is 24 hours away. Or less, depending on when you read this.

That means you've 24 hours (or less) to get your hands on a ton of demos, including games like Lake and Far: Lone Sails.

More importantly (or less, depending on your priorities), you also have 24 hours left to claim three brand new exclusive animated frames and stickers before they're gone forever.

These free cosmetics are currently available via Steam's points shop, so be sure you don't miss out. Do you really want to be the only friend in your group without a little car avatar? You'd be the laughing stock, I can't begin to imagine the trauma.

So, then, if you love silly little transportation based cosmetics - which I grant you is probably quite niche - this is your time to shine. Don't say I didn't warn you.
