Steam 19 free games you can download this May

May has finally arrived, and with it the weather here in the UK seems to have remembered it's supposed to be, you know, not crap.

Of course some would see the blazing sunshine and lack of rain as an excuse to go outside and not play as many video games. Not us.

Hell, I've still got a huge backlog to get through consisting of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Sand Land, and so many more.

But I'm nothing if not easily distracted, and so it is I couldn't help but take a look at Steam to find some of the latest free games.

While the 19 latest free games for Steam users might not be the biggest or best you've ever seen, they're definitely guaranteed to keep you interested for a while if you're trying to stay busy on a budget. Shall we take a look at this mix of demos and free-to-keep titles?

• Parkour Legends - A slick looking demo for a new 2D parkour platformer.
• Smelogs Playground - Kind of like League Of Legends, presumably without the toxicity.
• Unbreaded - A fun looking 3D platformer where you play as a gingerbread man on the run.
• Akatori: Сhapter One - An achingly gorgeous metroidvania with lovely hand-drawn graphics.
• Rent A Car Simulator 24: Prologue - Dream big and start your own car rental business.
• Gym Manager: Prologue - "Attract more clients - invest in new equipment, keep the room clean and sabotage your competitors."
• Evil Sinister - It's as sinister as it is evil. And vice-versa.
• Metal Beans - Bright arcadey fun
• Redacted - First-person zombie survival horror.
• Space Hat- A sci-fi FPS that actually looks pretty awesome.
• Farmer's Father: The Origins- Survive, farm, and craft. Three things you'll never have done in the same game before, I'm sure.
• JAPP: Just Another Precise Platformer- A 2D platformer you control using your mouse. As in your computer mouse, not a friendly rodent.
• Motorbike Evolution 2024- An MMO and a racing game, an odd combination but according to the reviews it works quite well
• Palia- Perfect for Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing lovers.
• Charrua Soccer - Mirror Edition- It's football. God.
• Age of Water: The First Voyage- Sail the seas and live your best pirate life.
• Deceit 2- A mystery game very similar to Among Us, where the objective is to figure out who the imposter is.
• Forest Ranger Simulator - Apprenticeship- A simulation game where you’re a forest ranger, if that’s your cup of tea.
• Battle Room Beta- Go to war as a miniature hero and do battle in people’s living rooms.
