Fans of everything post-apocalyptic can look forward to this upcoming release which combines the best of Resident Evil 2 and Fallout.

With October fast approaching, it is almost time to dive into some spooky titles and this post-apocalyptic banger is perfect for those long, dark nights.

Check out the trailer for a Resident Evil remake below!

Set to release on 1 October, Dread Dawn is an upcoming open-world zombie survival game developed by Kioop.

Set in an abandoned, quarantined city, players will take on the role of a student left behind due to missing out on the evacuation convoy.

By teaming up with other classmates left behind, you will have to team up with other survivors and defend your school and each other as you wait for rescue.

Featuring an abandoned metropolis fitted with public facilities including hospitals, subway stations, prisons and schools, you will have all you need for survival and self-defence.

Not only that but Dread Dawn features multiple story-driven cutscenes and as you progress, you will get to see the tranquility before the fall as well as the world now that it has been taken over by zombies.

When you are not defending your school, you will have to build a camp by collecting materials and enhancing your defences as you can be attacked at any time.

However, you will need to do more than fight off zombies if you wish to survive but luckily, you will be able to plant food in the spare areas of your camp or even raise chickens to provide you with eggs.

Not only that but an excess in food can be used to trade with other survivors for much-needed materials.

Dread Dawn is out on PC, more specifically Steam, in just a few weeks so don’t miss out if you want to experience the best parts of Resident Evil and Fallout in one big package.
