Harry Potter fans obsessed over free Steam download with Hogwarts Legacy vibes

This one oozes PS1 nostalgia

If you’re a Harry Potter fan and you’re tired of scouring every square inch of Hogwarts Legacy, I have just the recommendation for you.

Secret Agent Wizard Boy and the International Crime Syndicate isn’t exactly shy in exhibiting its inspirations.

This setting is essentially Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in all but name.

The villain? Well, you’ll be taking down, wait for it, Grumblemort.

But don’t take that to mean that this is a carbon copy of the Harry Potter universe.

Secret Agent Wizard Boy and the International Crime Syndicate offers up a comedic third-person sandbox adventure that looks utterly delightful.

In fact, if you enjoyed the PlayStation 1’s Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone game, then I’d imagine that you’ll feel right at home here.

ICYMI: Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is out now. Take a look at the game in action below.

“Secret Agent Wizard Boy must go undercover to topple Grumblemort's evil crime syndicate, hidden beneath his wizarding school,” teases the game’s synopsis.

That being said, “Wizard Boy could choose to ignore his mission entirely and instead use knowledge of spells and espionage to wreak havoc and destruction.”

All in all, it sounds like a good time with players able to cause plenty of physics-based mayhem.

There’s open-ended goals, online multiplayer, spells to learn, and … landmines?

The listing of landmines as a feature is leading me to think we could all explode at any moment.

To celebrate Steam Next Fest, a demo of the title is available to sample on Steam now ahead of the game’s full launch for which no release date is yet available.

“Finally, a Potter-like,” one fan rejoiced.

“Holy s**t. This looks amazing,” another added.

It’s certainly one that I’ll be giving a go.
