Developed by emptyvessel, DEFECT is an upcoming “cyberpunk, squad-based, immersive shooter set in a dystopian world”.
In a city where AI controls everything, including the fearsome police force, players will need to go head-to-head with rival gang factions in intense 4x4x4x4 combat.
“Revel in the anarchy of a city on the brink,” the official tagline for DEFECT reads.

On the brink of the city's collapse, gangs are dividing into dangerous factions and as a result, players will have to play with friends in PvE or co-op in order to complete objectives, assassinate targets and arrest suspects.

Humanity is being crushed under the weight of the law and gang factions are doing whatever it takes to run the city for themselves, even if that means with blood.
