A new FPS that can be described as Cyberpunk 2077 meets Battlefield is on the way, and it looks gorgeous.
Ever since I watched Ridley Scott’s movie, Blade Runner, starring Harrison Ford all those years ago, I’ve constantly been lured into the worlds of sci-fi cyberpunk.
As a child, the SEGA Mega Drive classic, Flashback, was probably the closest representation I was going to get of Ridley Scott’s cult classic at the time.

Sure, there have been a few Blade Runner games over the years, but when CD Projekt RED released Cyberpunk 2077, it was the game sci-fi fans had waited years for. Well, once the game was fixed after its woeful launch, but you get my point.
That being said, it’s been nearly five years since the initial release of Cyberpunk 2077, and by now, there’s a good chance that you’re after a new fix. Thankfully, that time may be nigh, especially if you’re a fan of DICE’s Battlefield series.
Developed by published by the indie studio Doku Games LTD. Out of Action is a game that looks to have the FPS action of the Battlefield series with an added sci-fi cyberpunk theme, presented with gorgeous anime-style visuals.
“Action-packed PvP FPS, deep progression, replayable offline mode, and a unique dark anime aesthetic set in a brutal cyberpunk universe,” reads the description of the game on Steam.
“So excited to play this and with friends when it drops,” said rioluvo, commenting on a gameplay video.
“This needs to go VIRAL, ladies and gentlemen!” declared Kumite-Dojo.

“This looks so sick and it looks so nice to play, can't wait for the full release,” exclaimed RGisOnline.
At the time of writing, Out of Action does not have a release date other than a tentative 2025 launch window. So be sure to add it to your Steam wishlist to be notified of its launch.
