BioShock 4 be damned, while we wait for our next dose of ADAM, this free Steam download is a welcome distraction.

Developed by the new 2K studio, Cloud Chamber, we all know that BioShock 4 is on the way (currently not its official name) but as of right now, we have no clue of exactly when it will be released. This is despite being announced in 2019.

Check out Karma: The Dark World trailer below!

Thankfully at least, we do have Judas to look forward to, a very BioShock-inspired game with one of its creators, Ken Levine in charge of production for another new studio, Ghost Story Games.

Judas is currently scheduled to be released at some point this year but it does not have a release date. It’s perhaps worth keeping in mind that a release date delay is always a possibility.

In the meantime, while we wait for BioShock 4 and Judas, we can at least check out this promising upcoming horror game developed by Pollard Studio, called Karma: The Dark World.

“Karma: The Dark World is a first-person cinematic psychological thriller set in a dystopian world where the Leviathan Corporation is omnipresent,” reads the synopsis of the game on Steam. “The year is 1984, the place is East Germany, and things are not quite what they seem.”

If you watched the trailer above and feel that Karma: The Dark World might be your cup of tea, you’ll be pleased to know that it has a free playable demo to download right now via Steam.

The demo for Karma: The Dark World is also available on PlayStation but at the time of writing, it’s not available on Xbox. Hopefully, that will change soon.

Karma: The Dark Would will be released for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on 27 March 2025.
