Mum, can we buy The Last of Us and Red Dead Redemption? No, we have The Last of Us and Red Dead Redemption at home.

Nobody’s Left is an upcoming game from developer Madrain Studios.

It has a Steam page. It has a trailer. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves too much, as one look at its Steam page should set some alarm bells ringing for you too.

We've got a brand-new teaser trailer for Borderlands 4! Take a look below

I’ll be frank, this one is giving me some serious The Day Before vibes.

From what I can find about the title online, this is being developed by a very, very small team, which makes what we can see in its trailer extremely impressive… to the point of being borderline unbelievable.

The developer page on Steam also redirects to a completely different publisher and developer, PlayWay. PlayWay don’t have anything about Nobody’s Left on their website, nor does the trailer for this game mention the publisher.

They also don’t list it as an upcoming game on Steam, which is odd because… it seems they’ve tweeted about it before?

The game also currently has a playtest you can sign up for, but in looking at some footage of someone who was able to give it a go… I don’t think I’m losing it when I say that some of these game’s assets look like they've been taken from The Last of Us.

The cars. The UI. The pop-ups. The scenery. Even the way the character moves the rubbish bins looks directly ripped from The Last of Us. What am I looking at here? Is this just a really fancy mod?

I don’t think this game is real, in the sense that I do not think this is something someone has made from scratch, but check it out for yourself via the playtest if you're equally curious.
