PS5 drops free game available for all users, no strings attached

Previously available in China and now free to download for PlayStation 5 users in the west, this brand-new MMORPG from the developers of Marvel Snap is taking the world by storm.

Arriving on PlayStation 5 for the first time and only available on this console as well as PC and mobile devices, this MMORPG is currently free for all PS5 and PS5 Pro gamers with no strings attached.

Crystal of Atlan by Nuverse is a free-to-play action RPG with anime-style visuals and a fast-paced combat system.

Up until its launch in the west, Crystal of Atlan had managed to reach a 4.7 out of 5 rating on the App Store and 4.5 out of 5 for Android users so it remains to be seen how well it will perform on PlayStation 5.

Set in a magicpunk world, players will take control of multiple characters as they fight to restore peace. As with many games in this genre, you will need to take on formidable enemies by making use of Crystal of Atlan’s combo-based battle system.

“Crystal of Atlan is a Magicpunk MMO Action RPG where you can immerse yourself in a Magicpunk world,” an official description reads.

“Build your skills, fight and uncover the secrets of this world with your allies! Time to embark on a wondrous journey of Magic and Machinery!”

The game features 10 classes to choose from, which are all unlocked from the start, and each will feature over 20 skill combinations to learn.

You will also be able to experiment with multiplayer modes including co-op dungeons and a guild fleet system which could see you team up with like-minded players.

There is also competitive 3v3 PvP and 1v1 modes if you wish to test out your skills in real-time combat.

Crystal of Atlan is now free to play on PC, mobile, and now the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro.
