PlayStation users can snag a lovely free download, and the best part is they don’t need PlayStation Plus to claim it.

There are a lot of perks to being a PlayStation fan, such as fantastic exclusives like Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth, a never-ending library of PlayStation Plus games, and of course the occasional bonus freebie.

Take a look at GAMINGBible’s review of Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth below.

This time PlayStation users can claim a digital collectable of a PlayStation 4 console, and unlocking it is incredibly simple.

All you have to do is find your way to the PlayStation Stars section of your PlayStation app and find the 'PlayStation & You: PS4' challenge.

There you’ll see a cute, micro PS4 in a lovely gold colour. Simply accept the challenge and play literally any game on your PS4 or PS5 console to unlock the reward.

It doesn’t matter which game you play nor does it matter how long you play for, just boot up a game and the prize is yours, no PlayStation Plus or other subscription required.

As for what you can do with the little PS4 model, there unfortunately isn’t much, as the only real use for it is displaying it on a digital shelf in the PlayStation app.

It’s not the most exciting prize in the world but if you want to collect as many digital PlayStation collectables as you can, you won’t want to miss this one.

The gold PS4 is just one in a handful of Sony consoles that have been turned into collectables, and fans are hoping other consoles will soon follow like some of the PlayStation 3 models.

You’ve got plenty of time to claim the above reward, but it won’t be there forever so if you want it on your shelf, best to accept the challenge and claim it as soon as possible.
