Sony just revealed that a bunch of new games will be dropping on PlayStation Plus on Tuesday 17 June, and you’ve got at least 450 hours worth of new content to sink your teeth into as a result.

It’s every PlayStation Plus Extra subscriber’s favourite occasion of the month; new games week!

As revealed on the PlayStation Blog last night, eight new titles will soon land on the PlayStation Plus Extra– and there’s even a few bangers in here.

The list includes: FBC: Firebreak (PS5), Battlefield 2042 (PS4, PS5), Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2 (PS5), theHunter: Call of the Wild (PS4), We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie (PS4, PS5), Eiyuden Chronicles: Hundred Heroes (PS4, PS5), Train Sim World 5 (PS4, PS5) and Endless Dungeon (PS4, PS5).

That’s over 400 hours worth of new content, not even counting the games like FBC: Firebreak (as we don’t know how long it will take to complete yet).

So, the folks over on the r/PlayStationPlus subreddit must be thrilled, right?

Nope. They think this list is straight garbage.

“I know I probably shouldn't say this on a PS Plus subreddit but damn this is a bit sad,” commented user Fluffy_Stress_453.

“Xbox Game Pass got Expedition 33, Doom The Dark Ages, Oblivion Remastered and Metaphor Rephantazio in a month while we're here getting/looking at some not so well rated or unknown games.”

“I don't even have Game Pass and never had but you are 1000% correct,” replied user xCoop_Stomp416x.

“Im tired of this s**t. Im going with Game Pass once I figure out how to get it on my Steam Deck OLED.”

Yeah, kinda hard to disagree on this one. Even if Xbox Game Pass didn’t exist to compare it to, Sony just upped the price of PlayStation Plus worldwide and this is the best they can offer?

Here’s hoping people vote with their wallets, because you deserve better.
