PlayStation gamers surprised with bonus free download, no PS Plus required

If you want to claim free DLC for one of PlayStation’s most popular RPGs today then you’re in luck and best of all, you don’t need a PS Plus subscription.

The RPG in question is Genshin Impact, developed and published by Hong Kong studio, HoYoverse. Released in 2020 on PlayStation 4 and mobile before making its way to PS5 the following year, Genshin Impact is a free-to-play title that has a very loyal and vibrant fanbase.

With Genshin Impact being a free-to-play title, it’s a given that it will be packed full of microtransactions to generate its publisher/developer’s never-ending pot of gold. Players can purchase fancy new skins, in-game currency or boosters that help level up characters a bit faster than usual.

However, if you want free DLC today that grants you a bonus of 60 Primogems (in-game premium currency) and Hero’s Wit (to level up your character), then redeem this code today, as brought to our attention by Reddit user StOoPiD_U.

All you have to do to claim the free DLC is redeem the universal code at genshin.hoyoverse.com with your chosen server and character nickname. Of course, you will need a HoYoverse account too.

Genshin Impact is out now on PC (via the Epic Games Store), PlayStation and mobile devices. The code will work across all available platforms including the Xbox Series X/S version which arrives this week on 20 November, so gamers on the green brand can finally find out what all the fuss is about with this popular RPG.
