Many PlayStation Plus subscribers likely aren’t making the most out of the PlayStation Stars programme.

It may not be the most lucrative rewards programme known to mankind, but it is still well worth utilising.

Do ensure you have a PlayStation Stars profile because you could be earning heaps of points, which you can then redeem as credit, just by being a PlayStation Plus subscriber.

Every purchase made on the PlayStation Store equates to rewards points earned - and that includes PlayStation Plus subscriptions.

If you’re dropping £119.99 on a premium subscription or £99.99 on the extra tier, your points will be racking up on PlayStation Stars without you even realising.

Then, there’s the monthly campaigns.

This month, PlayStation Plus subscribers can nab Sifu from the essential tier. Take a look at the game in action below.

If you head on over to the PlayStation Stars hub, accessible through the PlayStation app, you’ll find the latest campaigns.

Each month, this features several campaigns related to the latest PlayStation Plus offerings.

All you need to do is play one of the mentioned games and you’ll bag yourself some extra reward points.

It’s that simple, well, almost. When you’re viewing the campaign on the app, you need to click the ‘Start’ button to enrol yourself.

Then load up one of the mentioned games and those 50 points will be yours.

At the time of writing, you have just 19 days to play either Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Kena: bridge of Spirits, Control: Ultimate Edition, Sea of Stars, NieR Replicant, or Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition.

You don’t need to complete the titles either. Simply giving them a go is enough.

Likewise, you have 20 days left to sample F1 23, Sifu, Hello Neighbours 2, or Destiny 2: The Witch Queen to secure a further 50 points.

Those 50 points here and there, plus points earned from your subscription will soon add up.

I’ve personally already redeemed credit without doing anything at all really, given that I prefer physical purchases so I’m not earning much on the game-buying front.

Take a look at what you can or have accrued. You might be surprised.
