PlayStation Plus has launched a new offer, allowing PS4 and PS5 users to save up to 35% on memberships.
It’s perhaps a great time to join the service too, as a bumper February free game line-up was unveiled during yesterday’s State of Play, but more on that later.
The new offer is to coincide with the Lunar New Year.
PlayStation Plus Discounts For New and Existing Members
As I said, you can save up to 35% off 12-month PlayStation Plus Premium memberships, or 25% off PlayStation Plus Extra memberships.
Unfortunately, as is usually the case with these offers, that’s only available to new members.

Existing subscribers haven’t been totally excluded though.
That’s because existing members can upgrade to the Premium tier for 35% off which is a respectable saving.

Certainly, the Premium drops haven’t been bountiful as of late, but the Premium catalogue is home to many great games.
The offer is valid until 26 February, and it’s seemingly available worldwide.
Of course, while this is a great offer, there are plenty of disgruntled PlayStation users who aren’t eligible.
“But nothing for current premium users..? Oh well. Dropping to essential in August or entirely since i'm gonna be playing GTA 6 anyway,” said Reddit user JN_Polo.
There was joy elsewhere.
“£78 for premium?? Snapping this deal up! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction,” wrote Key2807.
“Premium on offer for €99.99 instead of €151.99 in Europe. They offered me the same price for extra so I took Premium,” added Weak_Donkey_2182.
As I said, February is a great month for PlayStation Plus.
Yesterday, 10 more free games were confirmed to be joining the service.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is the Extra tier’s headliner, and that’ll be joined by Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, Neva, Season: A Letter to the Future, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, Monster Hunter Stories, Venba, Echoes of the End Enhanced Edition, and Rugby 25.

Wall-E then joins Premium. All listed games land on 17 February.
Beyond that, it was confirmed during the State of Play that Tekken Dark Resurrection is coming to Premium in March, followed by Time Crisis in May.
Indie game Big Walk will then launch on the Extra tier as a day one game later this year.
It's definitely a step in the right direction as PlayStation Plus' previous line-ups have been a tad lacklustre as of late.
