The best-reviewed game of 2025 (not hyperbole, it’s a fact) just dropped on PlayStation Plus, and subscribers are already in love.

No, seriously. It’s currently the top-reviewed game of 2025, and it’s yours for the low, low price of free if you’re a PS Plus subscriber. No wonder they’re increasing the prices…

The game in question is Blue Prince, the exploration-focused puzzler from developer Dogubomb and publisher Raw Fury.

It’s pretty much impossible to find a negative review for this one, even on this very site. That’s because GAMINGBible’s Ewan Moore gave it a whopping 10/10 perfect score in his review earlier this week.

I’ve played it too, and yeah, I agree. It’s a certified banger. But don’t just take our word for it, because everyone over on the r/PlayStationPlus subreddit is just as excited to get their hands on it.

Take a look at Blue Prince in action below.

“I love when a (seemingly) great game pops up out of nowhere. Had never heard of this until like three days ago and now the hype train is off the rails,” commented user Chezzworth.

“Can't friggin wait to fire this up. I would've probably paid full price for this. Very awesome of them to launch on the games catalog. I hope they got a nice bag for that.”

“I have never heard this game until last week. And now suddenly people hyping this game,” replied user fersur.

“Can't wait to try when I get off work today.”

Blue Prince retails for £24.99 by the way, so the fact that what’s shaping up to be 2025’s Game of the Year is included as part of your monthly subscription is definitely a huge win for Sony.

If you’re an Xbox user, don’t worry, as Blue Prince is also included as part of your Xbox Game Pass subscription.

Awfully nice of the developers to push this one to the front of everyone’s backlogs.
