PlayStation Plus gamers urged not to sleep on absolute ‘classic’

Seriously, don't

PlayStation Plus isn’t short of banging games to play when you’ve got the time, but if you haven’t played this one, you’re doing yourself a disservice.

To be fair, there are plenty of games you could say that about but if you’re an Assassin’s Creed fan, you’ll likely have a few in mind.

The latest Assassin’s Creed game, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, is crushing it at the moment with plenty of great reviews and high-praise for its story and world design.

Reddit user and Assassin’s Creed fan Lazy-Meat wanted to know what games were available on PlayStation Plus, as they were looking for one they hadn’t played before after being away from the series for some time.

While plenty of titles were suggested, like clockwork someone said: “The Ezio Collection is a good classic.”

“These are the best AC games in my opinion. I mean 1 and 3 are worth it to complete Desmond's storyline, but Ezio was peak AC,” replied someone else.

Another added: “These are the only Assassin's Creed games I’ve actually finished and enjoyed the story. Even though I kept trying with every AC after that."

A different comment thread suggested the Ezio Collection and Black Flag as two stellar choices, saying, “Love those games, but haven't liked an Assassin's Creed game since Black Flag.”

Now my personal favourite is always going to be Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, purely due to Edward’s story, but I can’t deny the Ezio Collection is a great shout too.

One other Assassin’s Creed game I was pleased to see getting some love was Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, not the best by any means and very different to the titles before it due to the RPG elements, but it’s still a fantastic game.

Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any Assassin’s Creed game, they all offer very different experiences and if you haven’t tried Assassin’s Creed Shadows yet, I’d highly recommend giving it a go.
