Yesterday saw the latest batch of PlayStation Plus titles arrive to its extensive library and one offering is considered a seriously underrated open-world banger.
The beginning of a new month means the arrival of some brand-new titles to the PlayStation Plus subscription service.
Giving members access to a large catalog of games, as well as day-one titles and new games added each month, PS Plus is an excellent way to save some money for those who own a PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5.

Yesterday saw the new batch of games and this time members could choose between 14 titles, including one underrated banger.
This 2023 action RPG from Dambuster Studios is the third instalment in the Dead Island series and found itself getting rave reviews when it was first released over a year ago.
With horror, dark humour and over-the-top zombie-slaying, Dead Island 2 is guaranteed to offer hours of fun.
However, with the entry getting buried underneath some great 2023 releases, this is your chance to try it out and PS Plus members agree that this is an epic addition.
“Dead Island 2, let's gooooo. I played the first one a long time ago and I heard this one is pretty great too!” One user enthused over on r/PS5.
Another said: “Dead Island 2 is an absolute blast, perfect game for the Halloween season.
Also the game is getting a free update Oct 22nd that adds a new game+ and a horde mode that is sort of separate from the campaign.”
They would be correct.
Dead Rising 2 is offering a massive free update later this month which adds an increased level cap, new weapons and new foes to name just a few changes.
So it goes without saying that now is the perfect time to dive into this zombie-slaying RPG if you missed out last year.
