Being a PlayStation Plus member can be hit or miss but with access to a large library of games, day-one releases and, in this case, a free game entirely, it may just pay off to be a subscriber.

For a select fee each month, depending on your tier, PlayStation Plus is the perfect way to gain access to hundreds of incredible games.

With new games added each month, including day-one releases, members are never stuck on something to play with some subscribers even complaining that PS Plus is taking over their life.

However, it seems as though many PS Plus users are currently sitting on a game which can be redeemed for free.

The game in question is CarX Drift Racing Online, an online racing game where you will get to immerse yourself into the real world of drifting.

Developed by CarX Technologies, players will be able to dive in either solo or with friends, tune their cars to their liking and most importantly, burn some rubber.

“The game features realistic physics developed with the CarX Motorsport team (a regular competitor in RDS GP). Driving assist for controllers and keyboards will immerse you into the gameplay right away, and steering wheel setups will let you experience all the challenges and adrenaline of real drifting.”

First released back in 2017, CarX has managed to gain an ‘overwhelmingly positive’ rating on sites such as Steam so if you are a fan of racing games, you will definitely want to check this one out.

Luckily, it is completely free to do so if you are a PlayStation Plus subscriber but weirdly, you need to actually claim it from the PlayStation Store and then it is yours to keep forever.

However, this offer will end on 10 September, so do not miss out on saving yourself £25.

Additionally, over on r/PlayStationPlus, it seems as though this deal may be limited to United Kingdom residents so it is worth checking if you are eligible.
