PlayStation Plus is a subscription service that offers plenty of value whether you’re into AAA big hitters, indie darlings, retro classics or everything else in between.

This week, Sony announced the batch of joyous games that are coming to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium in April 2024, and it includes some absolute bangers. In total, we’ll be getting 16 new additions this month which includes the likes of the critically acclaimed Dave the Diver, the new Tales of Kenzera: Zau, and Construction Simulator to name a few.

What’s more, those who subscribe to the PlayStation Plus Premium tier have a few PS1 classics to look forward to, namely Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare, Star Wars: Rebel Assault II: The Hidden Empire and MediEvil. However, both PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers can also look forward to exploring one of the biggest open worlds in recent memory with 2018’s The Crew 2.

“Take on the American motorsports scene as you explore and dominate the land, air, and sea across the entire USA. With a wide variety of cars, bikes, boats, and planes, compete in a wide range of driving disciplines,” reads the synopsis of The Crew 2.

On a Reddit post, it has been speculated that the map size of The Crew 2 is equal to roughly 1,900 square miles. This huge map will have you exploring the diverse roads of the United States from the iconic Route 66 to off-road, street and stunt racing and so much more. Furthermore, according to HowLongToBeat.com, The Crew 2 can take up to 80 hours to fully complete, so it should keep you very busy for months to come.

All 16 of the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium titles for April 2024 will be available from Tuesday, 16 April. It’s promising to be a fantastic month for PS Plus subscribers and May 2024 will certainly have big shoes to fill.

The Crew 2 is out now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
