It's that time again, fellow gamers: more PlayStation Plus free games have landed for April.

Although PlayStation users are already concerned by May's potential line-up, there's still free games to be had this month. We've already been gifted access to greats like first-person shooter, Immortals Of Aveum, and the chilled vibes of Minecraft Legends, but there's always room for more adventuring.

Sony fans have been speculating over the PS Plus Extra games for several days now. Over on Reddit, many players have been trying to guess what's most likely to drop next. There's a lot of wishful thinking going on, but among those hopes come some solid suggestions.

Among the top predictions are Sonic Frontiers, Forsaken, and Dead Island 2. But have those eager beaver gamers got it right? Without further ado, let's take a look at the new free games coming to PS Plus Extra this April.

The PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for April includes:

➕ Dave the Diver
➕ Tales of Kenzera: Zau
➕ The Crew 2
➕ Construction Simulator

Another 16 titles have landed, including the acclaimed Dave the Diver, an indie darling up for a BAFTA Games Award, as well as The Crew 2, and Construction Simulator, to name but a few of what's on the list.

Gamers will also be able to play with their food in the unusually delightful Nour, and dive into the Lego Marvel's Avengers for rip-roaring fun.

Overall, that's not a bad batch of games. Make sure to check out all the details over on the PlayStation blog.

Most the games listed will officially join the service on 16 April, with the exception of Tales of Kenzera: Zau which lands on 23 April and Animal Well which lands on 9 May.

Now you're all up to speed, it's time to get predicting for May's free games in earnest. Oh, and of course, play the latest freebies. Although there's already plenty of rumours circulating regarding May's additions, it never hurts to add more to the list.

We'll be back soon with the PS Plus May selection once we have the details for you. Until then, happy gaming, folks!
