PlayStation Plus subscribers surprised with bonus freebie you can grab now

If you subscribe to PlayStation Plus and would love free DLC for Call of Duty, then you’re in the right place.

As we near the release date of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, there are still plenty of gamers who love to be immersed in Activision’s method of military warfare whether it's with Modern Warfare III or the free-to-play battle royale, Warzone.

If you’re one of those who still love to play the most recent versions of Call of Duty and you subscribe to PlayStation Plus, you can claim exclusive DLC for free. It doesn't matter which tier of PS Plus you subscribe to, everyone can download this freebie.

Speaking of PlayStation Plus, the next batch of free games for the Extra and Premium tiers were announced by Sony during last night's State of Play event. In October 2024 subscribers can expect bangers such as The Last of Us Part I, WWE 2K24 and the Capcom retro classic, Dino Crisis to name a few.

The Call of Duty freebie in question is ‘Combat Pack 6 (Calliope)’. This DLC pack includes the Lockpick Operator Skin, two Weapon Blueprints, a Charm, Sticker, Large Decal and finally, an Emblem.

The free PS Plus DLC can be claimed via the PlayStation Store whether it’s from the website or directly from your console. Once this DLC has been claimed, it’s yours to keep forever even if your PS Plus subscription expires.
