Now that the July line-up for PlayStation Plus has partly been revealed, everyone will start to look towards August, but not just for what will be coming to the service.
It’s around this time each month that Reddit gets a thread about games that could be leaving the PlayStation Plus subscription the following month, and they’re usually on the money.
If these predictions are true, we could be losing an absolute banger next month, so let’s dig into the guesses and see what we should be playing before they leave the service.
The thread opens with a big one, The Witcher 3, which has been on PlayStation Plus for 12 months, and this is usually when games vanish.

After a year, the licence expires, and they get removed, but as the original poster says, “CD Projekt RED seems to be very cautious with subscription services,” and they cite that Cyberpunk 2077 is yet to reach any subscription service.
Also up for the chop are Wild Hearts, Cult of the Lamb, and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, all of which are reaching the end of their 12 months, or in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s case, six months.
Reading through the post, there are plenty more games that were added a year or two ago, in August, so it could be a big month for games leaving.
As always, take this with a pinch of salt, but they have been right a lot, so this could be a sign to finally start some of these games before you lose the chance to play them.

And you’ll need a lot of time for The Witcher 3.
Fellow Redditors are jumping in to thank the user for their regular updates, as it gives them focus on what to play next.
These should be confirmed as we make it through July.
