The first game offered in PlayStation Plus for next month has leaked, and it’s one for Dark Souls and Elden Ring fans.

It’s that time of the month when the games coming to Sony’s PlayStation Plus begin to leak, and if this leak proves to be true, then it’s going to be great news for action-RPG fans who love a fierce challenge.

Famed Japanese developer FromSoftware is one of the best and most popular video game creators in the industry, and for good reason. Over the years, they’ve treated us to bangers such as Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Elden Ring and much more.

PS Plus Free Game Will Delight Dark Souls Fans!

So, what is the leaked game coming to PlayStation Plus, I hear you ask? It’s none other than Lords of the Fallen on PlayStation 5, the 2023 sequel to The Lord of the Fallen (confusing titles, I know), released in 2014.

“Aeons after his defeat by the hands of man, the demon God Adyr’s resurrection draws nigh,” reads the synopsis of Lords of the Fallen. “As a fabled Dark Crusader, journey through the realms of the living and the dead in this expansive RPG experience to overthrow Adyr once and for all. Featuring colossal boss battles, fast, challenging combat, and deep, immersive storytelling.

Usually, we’d say that we should take all unconfirmed rumours with a pinch of salt, and to some extent, that is still the case here. However, this leak comes from the ever-reliable Dealabs, who are more often than not bang on the money.

On the Metacritic aggregate score website, Lords of the Fallen received mixed reviews, with its reception being somewhat underwhelming. Yet, in my humble opinion, I believe it’s a better game than the scores suggest. But at the end of the day, it’s all subjective.

If this leak is true, it means that Lord of the Fallen will be coming to PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra and Premium on Tuesday, 7 April 2026.

Now, that leaves two or three more games to be revealed on PS Plus Essential for next month. That news will either leak via Dealabs again or, in the unlikely event, Sony will make the announcement first. Either way, we’ll let you know as soon as that information drops. Hopefully, that news will arrive at some point this week.

Lords of the Fallen is also out on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
