Time for fresh opportunities

PlayStation users who appreciate a bargain will want to check out the various opportunities throughout May to bag some free store credit.

This month is shaping up to be a brilliant one for PlayStation players, not least of all because of two bonus downloads you can get without PlayStation Plus.

But why limit yourselves to just those two goodies?

For the month of May, PlayStation Stars Campaigns are back and rearing to go. As you’d expect, these rewards started to trickle through from 1 May.

Attention, PlayStation players: don't forget to check out Stellar Blade

Those campaigns are still active. However, if they’re not of interest to you, there’s upcoming ones that will likely tickle your fancy.

These opportunities are for either PS Stars or digital collectibles; both are worthy of your attention.

For players looking to score some PS Stars that they can exchange for store credit, you’ll want to look ahead to the ‘Your PlayStation Plus Monthly Games Await’ campaign.

From 7 May, you need to play one of the new PS Plus titles to get yourselves 50 points.

‘PlayStation VR2 Showtime’ will also deliver 50 points to those who experience the joys of VR via the games mentioned. These are: Tiger Blade, Hubris, C-Smash VRS, and Stilt.

We assume you’re here because of the chance to get free store credit. However, if your bag is collectibles instead, make sure to check out the below.

Available from today onwards, the ‘Role Player’s Guild’ campaign will offer up The Outlaw collectible, a digital tarot card that has some beautiful artwork.

Interested parties need only play one of the six titles listed, which includes Cyberpunk 2077 and Red Dead Redemption 2.

Regardless of where your interests lie, May has lined up plenty of ways for you to obtain sweet rewards, some of which can be used for purchasing new games.
