It’s always nice to receive a freebie unless that freebie is a slap in the face with a wet kipper. In that case, you can keep that freebie to yourself.

Being a subscriber to PlayStation Plus, as with Xbox Game Pass, not only do we have access to hundreds of video games at a press of a button but we also get additional perks such as free DLC, discounts and more. Subscribers certainly get a lot of bang for their buck with both services.

Check out the PlayStation Stars trailer below!

In 2022, Sony launched the PlayStation Stars rewards program. By completing campaigns you can earn reward points that can be redeemed against free video games or even £5 or £20 free credit to spend on the PlayStation Store. It might take a while to accumulate enough points for the £20 credit, but as they say, patience is a virtue.

What’s more, PlayStation Stars members can also be rewarded with digital collectables (not NFTs) which can be put proudly on display on your display case in the PlayStation mobile app for your friends to see. Assuming they care. They might do, but the important thing is that you care. So go you!

With that being said, a digital collectible has dropped earlier than expected as brought to our attention by Reddit user Street-Book-6433. The digital collectable in question is called “Ancient Babylon Rabbit” and it can be acquired by simply booting up a game on your PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4.

I’ve just checked my PlayStation app and so far, this collectable hasn't dropped for me, yet. I assume that it’s being released in waves across varying regions for PlayStation Stars members. So it might be worth checking in with the app once in a while to see what’s available.

There is a new digital that has dropped for me however, and it is “Leap Year, Sleep Year” which rewards you for playing chill games such as Saltsea Chronicles, Unpacking, Frog Detective: The Entire Mystery and Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition.
