PlayStation announces your free store credit opportunities for June

PlayStation announces your free store credit opportunities for June

We're so ready for June

June is already off to a good start for PlayStation owners, and we’ve not finished with May yet.

Despite fears that PlayStation Plus is off to a rocky start, Sony then dropped the news that June’s month of free games will be “oversized” with a whopping 17 titles available.

That’s quite the turnaround!

What is more, not only does the catalogue of free games sound extremely promising now, so too do all the free store credit opportunities on the way.

Not long until Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree now, folks...

Currently, we don’t know exactly what each PlayStation Stars Campaign will entail. However, what we do know is that there'll be “special PlayStation Stars Campaigns during Days of Play”.

Furthermore, a “new display case” is on the horizon to help you show off all those digital collectibles you’ve been amassing over the last few months.

For PS plus players taking part in the festivities, “there will also be exclusive PlayStation Stars Campaigns for PlayStation Plus members to look forward to that are focused on the titles [...] such as Dredge and EA Sports FC 24.”

While you wait for June to hurry up, there’s other Sony related news to delight in – like the arrival of PS2 games (finally).

It’s been a long time coming, but PS5 users will be able to play some classic PS2 titles whenever they need a top up of nostalgia.

At this moment in time, the selection of PS2 adventures is small; only Tomb Raider Legend, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus are available.

However, this collection will grow as more old school games are ported to PS5.

May is ending, with June promising to deliver on all fronts for PS players. We look forward to learning about more ways to gain free store credit, hopefully via us playing our favourite games.
