PlayStation users can rejoice to learn that Sony is offering yet another way to earn some free store credit so you can put some money towards buying the next big game release.

The PlayStation Stars programme, despite having its fair share of issues, has finally paid off as members regularly find themselves earning points, which in turn, can be exchanged for free store credit.

With AAA games costing a small fortune these days, every little helps and the latest campaign from PS Stars will see you earn 50 points.

So what are the rules?

If you are a PS Stars member, you have until 15 January to “activate” any of the following PS4 and PS5 games: Last Day of June, Virginia, Night in the Woods, or Oxenfree II Lost Signals.

By activate, it just means booting any of these games up and better yet, Night in the Woods is currently free for PlayStation Plus Extra members so it will cost you nothing to earn those 50 points.

The rest of the titles will need to be purchased from the PS Store but you will not regret buying such incredible titles.

Last Day of June is an adventure puzzle game and an interactive tale about love and loss.

“Join Carl and June on what begins as a magical outing to their favorite spot, and try to unlock the sequence of events that could save the day – and June’s life – in this cinematic experience that will compel you to ask yourself: “What would I do to save the one I love?"” The official synopsis reads.

Virginia is a first-person mystery adventure game which follows the story of FBI special agent Anne as she investigates the disappearance of a boy in rural Virginia.

Night in the Woods is a game focused on exploration, story, and character as you take on the role of Mae, a college dropout who has to return to her hometown in an attempt to connect to her past life and old friends.

Last but not least, Oxenfree II Lost Signals is the much-loved sequel to Oxenfree, a supernatural thriller about a group of friends who unknowingly open a ghostly rift.

All of these indie games are worth the buy and hey, you will get some free store credit in the process!
