PlayStation users can get their hands on a free download without the need of PlayStation Plus but with it only being available for a limited time, it is time to pick up those knees and get running.

As useful as the PlayStation Plus service is for giving subscribers access to free games each month, it is also a big investment that not everybody is capable of making.

Borderlands 3 is free to download this month courtesy of PlayStation Plus!

However, Sony is no stranger to giving away freebies for those without a PS Plus subscription and this month is no exception with a brand-new collectible up for grabs.

Courtesy of PlayStation’s Free To Play Festival 2024, those who take part can earn themselves a digital badge to display on their profiles.

The official description reads: “The Free To Play Festival celebrates games with the most incredible gameplay, characters, and worlds. Launch one of the titles below to receive a unique collectible item!”

As mentioned, all you have to do to be eligible is to dive into one of PlayStation’s free-to-play games which include: Fortnite, Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero, Warframe or Apex Legends.

These free titles feature something for everyone. Whether you dive into classic Fortnite or try out the brand-new Zenless Zone Zero from the creators of Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, you really don’t have to spend a single penny to get ahold of this collectible.

In related news, PlayStation is giving gamers one last chance to play five free games before they are removed. This includes NBA 2K24, Need For Speed Unbound and more.

Additionally, if you are a PlayStation Plus subscriber, make sure you don’t miss out on July’s titles which are available to download and play right now.
