PlayStation gamers warned they've 24 hours left to nab 'easy' free store credit

Take a step closer to free credit

You can take one step closer to claiming free PlayStation Store credit, but you need to act fast because time is running out with less than 24 hours to go.

While it does feel like reward points are harder to earn nowadays since the inception of Sony’s rewards scheme, PlayStation Stars, in 2022, it’s still a great way to claim free store credit to spend how you please on the PS Store, whether it’s on a full game you’ve been after or some DLC.

Check out the Sackboy: A Big Adventure trailer below!

Granted, you will need a bit of patience and persistence, but given time, you’ll be claiming £5 or £10 PS Store credit in no time. You can also claim digital collectables to proudly display on your PlayStation mobile app profile, but we all know it’s the free money that we really want.

As brought to our attention by TrueTrophies, you only have until tomorrow, Thursday 27 February 2025, to claim an easy 50 reward points by completing the simple ‘PlayStation Plus Game Catalog’ campaign.

To acquire the easy 50 reward points, all you have to do is fire up any of the following: Cat Quest II, Everybody’s Golf, LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, Overcooked! All You Can Eat, Portal Knights or Sackboy: A Big Adventure.

All of the above are included in PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium, but the points can still be earned by firing up any of those games if you already own them.

PlayStation Stars is a free rewards program and all you need to do is sign up, download the PlayStation mobile app, and then you’re good to go.

The PlayStation Stars campaigns typically refresh following new PS Plus arrivals, whether it's the Essential, Extra or Premium tiers. So it’s always good to check the app from time to time, to see what’s new.
