A new free PS5 download will be available to pick up next week, and you won’t need PlayStation Plus to get it either.
Okay, so PlayStation Plus obviously has a lot of great downloads, but you can often find some hidden free gems just by exploring the PS5 store.
It’s always a good shout to take a look at this section from time-to-time, as there are often new releases and other freebies that crop up without warning.
Hell is Us, the action-adventure game from Nacon, is expected to launch in September, and next week you’ll be able to play a small slice of the game for free.

As announced by the development team, Rogue Factor, Hell is Us is getting a demo on PS5 next week on 12th August, following a series of teases on the official X account. It'll also be coming to Xbox Series X/S.
Rogue Factor previously launched a demo for the game on PC back in June, and we presume the PS5 demo will be the exact same. Here’s what the developer said about it back when that came out:
“The demo begins right at the start of the game. You’ll step into Rémi’s shoes, armed with only the limited information he has, and begin your descent into Hadea. This introduction is meant to ease you into Hell is Us and its core gameplay systems.
“It won’t show you everything the full game has to offer — it’s just the beginning. Some of the key elements, like exploration and the player plattering experience, truly come into their own as the world opens up and the layers unfold.”
Hell is Us is a game where you explore a hostile world in the midst of a war, and supernatural creatures have arisen.
There are no maps, quest markers or waypoints, so you need to use your instincts to traverse the world and get to where you need to go.
It should be the right taster you need ahead of the game’s launch on 4th September, where it’ll be coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
