The PlayStation 6 has become the talk of the town in recent months which is ironic considering it has not yet been formally announced by Sony itself.
It may be just five years (almost) since the PlayStation 5 first launched but that has not stopped the rumours of PlayStation’s next-gen console circulating online over recent months with the majority of users believing it is just too soon to move on.
Regardless of when it happens, it most likely will happen and the PlayStation 6 (as we assume it will be called) will launch in the next few years but what will it be able to do that the PlayStation 5 can do already?
Well, according to a recent episode of Moore’s Law is Dead, the PlayStation 6 will be powered by AMD's next-gen Zen 5 CPU and UDNA GPU, meaning that its performance will be twice as fast as the PlayStation 5 Pro.

Not only that but it will be able to hit 4K at 120FPS and 8K at 60FPS which will make it the most powerful console of all time.
Of course, these numbers have not been officially confirmed by Sony and come courtesy of insider leaks so it is worth taking with a pinch of salt.
However, it is exciting indeed if they are to be believed.
Well, maybe not when it comes to the expected price.

With great power comes great stacks of cash and potential users are concerned over how much the PlayStation 6 will actually be when it is launched.
“Looking at the MSRP difference of 4090 vs 2080ti, the PS6 is going to be exxxpensive!” One user over on r/AMD_Stock said.
However, fellow user clark1785 replied, “It shouldn't be, otherwise there is no reason to buy a console anymore.”
With all of the information regarding the PS6 being purely speculation at the moment, we do not yet know how powerful it will be and what it will be retailed at which is why we should make the most of our PlayStation 5s whilst we can.
