PlayStation 5's best exclusive is free to download and try right now

Don't miss it, boy

The PlayStation 5 isn't even halfway into its lifecycle and we've already had some absolute bangers. Final Fantasy XVI, God Of War Ragnarök, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart - just some absolutely huge games.

The good news is that one of the best PlayStation 5 exclusives is currently free to download and play for a limited time, provided you're a card-carrying PlayStation Plus subscriber.

Take a look at God Of War Ragnarök in action below!

Released in November last year (how is this game not even a year old yet?) God Of War Ragnarök is, for my money, the best PlayStation 5 exclusive we've had so far. It's also on the PS4, mind you, but is designed as a PS5 title first and foremost, and is absolutely where the game is at its best.

In my review at the time I gave God Of War Ragnarök a 9/10, and hailed it as a stunning finale to Kratos' Norse saga.

"By the time the credits finally rolled on God of War Ragnarök, I was in bits," I wrote. "There’s so much I still want to tell you about, but I know that if I do I’ll be robbing you of the same joy I experienced. So I’ll leave you simply with this: Ragnarök is a fantastically impressive sequel that delivers in every conceivable way.

"It expands on and improves the formula established in 2018’s God of War hugely, offering up blistering action, gut-wrenching twists, and truly cinematic boss battles with real emotional heft behind them. This is a high-stakes, high-fantasy rollercoaster from start to finish, and an instant PlayStation classic."

If you've somehow yet to experience this incredible game, you can currently enjoy an extended trial as part of PlayStation Plus Premium's range of perks. The trial, which can be accessed from the PlayStation Plus section of the PlayStation Store, will give you access to the first three hours of the game. If after that you somehow still don't want to play more? Well, I can't help you. But I would advise you don't miss this one.
