PlayStation drops 100 hours worth of free games for you to get stuck into

It's Peak, no lies detected

Over 100 hours of games can soon be yours for the low, low price of free on PlayStation, and fans are already beyond excited to get their hands on them.

It’s that time again folks, because the next PlayStation Plus Essential Monthly Games drop is almost upon us.

As revealed on Tuesday, August’s line-up is looking pretty decent, with Lies of P, Day Z and My Hero One’s Justice 2 set to drop on August 5.

But if you’re the type of person who really enjoys getting your money's worth, how long will it take to actually complete all three titles? About 110-ish hours, according to this post on the r/PlayStationPlus subreddit.

However, for those of us who aren’t bothered about milking every cent out of our PlayStation Plus subscriptions, which of the three games are worth getting excited for?

Well, everyone in a separate thread seems to think only two of them are potentially worth trying: DayZ and, of course, Lies of P.

“Really stepping up, Diablo IV, now Lies of P (even though i've finished it and the DLC) Do not sleep on this one first time players”, commented user SinisterMB.

“Been wanting to buy DayZ for ages but never pulled the trigger. Might buy the DLCs for it if it plays how I hope it plays”, replied user LauraLoomersFace.

Alright, sure, those are the headliners, but is My Hero One’s Justice 2 decent enough to try?

If you ask me… no.

Unfortunately, I forced myself to play through that entire game, and even tried getting to grips with the online scene, and I really don’t think the majority of people on PlayStation Plus are going to care for it.

Still, Lies of P is an extremely hype addition. Nice to see that Sony is continuing its streak of decent PlayStation Plus Essential drops.
