One of 2024’s biggest games is set to be commemorated with an exclusive piece of PlayStation hardware.
There is no denying that 2024 has been another big year for gaming with titles such as Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, Metaphor: ReFantazio and the ASTRO BOT taking the world by storm.

However, there was another big release that saw players don a helmet and fight for liberty.
That’s right, Helldivers 2 was released back in February of this year and went on to become one of 2024’s biggest releases.
The co-op third-person shooter sees the elite force known as Helldivers battling to win in an intergalactic struggle to rid the galaxy of rising alien threats.

Now to celebrate the release of Helldivers 2, a PlayStation 5 DualSense controller with a Helldivers theme is reportedly in the works.
This is according to the highly-reliable dataminer known as billbil-kun who claims that the brand-new controller will be released by the end of the year.
We do not yet have any idea what this DualSense could look like but billbil-kun has revealed that it will cost $84.99/£74.99/€84.99 so it is quite an investment.
This would not be the first special edition DualSense controller that Sony has released this year.
2024 has given us controllers with themes based on ASTRO BOT, Concord and Fortnite.
Not only that but a Monster Hunter: Wilds themed controller is set to launch in Japan very soon.
