Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 hasn't been announced yet, but could a reveal be closer than we think?
When Insomniac Games released Marvel’s Spider-Man in 2018 on PlayStation 4, before it made its way to PC and PlayStation 5, it instantly became one of the best superhero games in years.
Some could argue that Spider-Man on the original PlayStation or 2004’s Spider-Man 2 might be the best of the bunch, but for me, the Insomniac Games offering nailed the Peter Parker vibe and web-slinging action better than most.

Then, in 2023, we were treated to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and without giving too much away, it ended on quite the cliffhanger, teasing a third entry in the series.
However, before Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 is released, we have Marvel’s Wolverine to look forward to, which was announced during a PlayStation Showcase event in 2021.
While we know for sure that Marvel’s Wolverine is on the way, it doesn't have a release date, so it could arrive late in the PlayStation 5 life cycle.
Fair to say that the game is possibly a few years in the making, but what about Marvel’s Spider-Man 3?

It’s worth keeping in mind that in no way shape or form has Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 been announced. Yet, Insomniac Games is having a recruitment drive right now which could hint that more hands are needed on deck for something else.
This is mere speculation on our part, and the recruitment drive could very well be to ensure that Marvel’s Wolverine is able to hit whatever internal deadline has been set by Insomniac Games.
But with the PlayStation 6 likely being two or three years away, it’s not outside the realm of possibility that Insomniac Games might already be preparing for Marvel’s Spider-Man 3. As always, we’ll keep you posted.
