The next Horizon game from Sony Interactive Entertainment has resurfaced in a huge leak, but it still seems like the game is a ways out.
This week, Steam suffered another huge leak which revealed achievements for dozens of games, including some that were unannounced.
Some of the games affected by the leak include Kingdom Hearts 4, Persona 6, and Metro 2039, but achievement lists for many other games have also been shared online.
Another game affected by the leak appears to be Horizon Hunters Gathering, the upcoming cooperative spin-off of Sony’s Horizon series.

Horizon Hunters Gathering achievement list has revealed certain details about the upcoming co-op game
A full achievement list for Horizon Hunters Gathering has been leaked (via Exophase), hinting at possible activities and rewards you’ll be able to find in the game.
The list includes achievements for stuff you’d expect in a live service action adventure game, such as equipping weapon skins and emotes, as well as completing a certain number of challenges. Bizarrely, there’s also an achievement for unlocking the first Battle Pass page.
Other achievements include references to finding “epic session weapons”, hinting at tiered loot being a thing in the game. It also confirms the number of chapters in the game, called “episodes” here, confirming there are six of them.
However, it seems like this achievement list may not be accurate for telling what may appear in the final game, as development was reportedly reset following negative feedback.
A report from Bloomberg claims that the live service would pivot to a more traditional co-op experience with a story, and would be on a much smaller scale. The live service elements seem to have been cut entirely too.
This would mean that certain achievements in the leak, such as references to the battle pass and account levels, will also be axed. Considering the game was only reported to have been reset a few weeks ago, changing the achievements is obviously not a huge priority for Sony right now.
Although the game is still likely a ways off, even prior to the reset, this Steam leak seems to prove that achievements being added for games that are months or years away from release is normal.
The leak also includes achievements for games like Persona 6 and Kingdom Hearts 4, which are not due to be released until 2027, and the leak even includes spoilers for certain details in these games.
It also includes leaks for games that are a bit closer to coming out, such as Control Resonant, Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition, and Silent Hill: Townfall.
Horizon Hunters Gathering was revealed earlier this year, and despite the reset, was always promoted as a cooperative experience where players hunt various machines within the world of Horizon. Think of it as like the Monster Hunter series, but with Aloy and robots.
