Hogwarts Legacy free download unlocks limited-time bonus

PlayStation users can nab themselves a bonus freebie

If you’re not regularly checking PlayStation Stars, I suggest you go about changing that.

If you’re not aware, PlayStation Stars is Sony’s rewards service, allowing users to collect both points and digital collectibles.

While those digital collectibles can line your virtual shelves, points can eventually be exchanged for free store credit - or even full-length games.

Today, it’s the ‘PlayStation Underground’ campaign that I want to highlight to you which will reward you with the very snazzy ‘The Vault | Issue 5’ collectible.

Understandably, such collectibles aren’t going to be everybody’s cup of tea, but there are plenty of avid collectors out there.

There are no caveats to this campaign. A PlayStation Plus premium subscription helps, but it’s not necessary.

ICYMI: Ghost of Yōtei has been unveiled, launching next year on PS5.

It’s important you press start on the campaign from the PlayStation Stars hub, otherwise it will not be tracked.

“Feeling aimless?” the campaign asks. “Having trouble finding a new game?”

“Don’t forget about demos! Try one of the great demos or PlayStation Plus premium game trials below to find your next game and get a collectible.”

This is why it’s helpful to have a premium tier subscription.

If you tick that box, simply load up the free trial of any of the following games in order to nab the collectible: Hogwarts Legacy, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, TopSpin 2K25, or Baldur’s Gate 3.

If you don’t have a PlayStation Plus subscription though, worry not.

Simply head on over to the PlayStation Store and search for any of the following free trials which are available to all: The Legend of Heroes: Trails though Daybreak and Morkull Ragast’s Rage.

As always, there is no time requisite on these campaigns so simply loading up one of the trials for a mere minute should do and gain you that collectible.

There are 50 days left on the campaign at the time of writing so while you do have plenty of time, I wouldn’t risk leaving this too long.

You know how easy it is to forget.
