GTA VI fans are pleased to see that the long-awaited game is finally on the PlayStation Store. It almost feels surreal.

The next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series has been about 10 years in the making. It almost feels like an age when Rockstar Games released the first trailer for GTA VI in December 2023.

Recently, it was suddenly announced that GTA VI would be delayed from late 2025 and would instead launch on 26 May 2026. Then, before we could recover from social media going into a frenzy, Rockstar Games released the second trailer for GTA VI and it was pure bliss for fans of the series.

Now that the release date is out of the way and we’ve been treated to the second GTA VI trailer, fans are pleased furthermore because you can now wishlist the game on the PlayStation Store.

At the time of writing, it does not appear to be live on the Xbox Marketplace, but that might change soon.

“Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them,” reads the synopsis of GTA VI. “But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.”

“It feels good to see the game already in the PlayStation Store,” declared a joyous Separate-Anywhere642.

“Seeing the game in the PS Store gives me hope for the May release,” replied Justdroid, hoping that GTA VI doesn't get another delay.

“Despite getting an official announcement, two trailers and a whole load of screenshots, for me this is the moment where it all sank in that this is actually happening,” exclaimed krispykesk.

“Now we wait for pre-orders,” said The_Almighty_Alpha with StringAccomplished97 adding, “It feels real now.”

Grand Theft Auto VI will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Its PC release is yet to be announced.
