The lure of a free download is a difficult one to resist, and thanks to the 15th anniversary of PlayStation Plus you won't have to if you're a user of any of Sony's flagship consoles.
PlayStation's premium online service is celebrating a decade and a half online by granting players access to free goodies for a limited time. Excitingly, these include several avatars so you can show off your favourite games via your profile display picture.
This includes different illustrations drawn from some of the biggest games on the platform, including Cyberpunk 2077, God of War Ragnarok, Twisted Metal, Hogwarts Legacy and Diablo IV.
If you are a free stuff enjoyer, all you need to do to get your hands on the above items is head over to the PlayStation store and click redeem code. Depending on your region, input one of the following codes and the items will be automatically added to your collection:

Excitingly, Sony also confirmed the PlayStation Plus lineup for August a day earlier than usual, with extra games from the standard offering of previous months. These include stellar soulslike Lies of P, DayZ, and My Hero: One’s Justice 2. The games are available to players regardless of which PS Plus subscription tier they pay for, including Essential.
PS Plus Premium subscribers have even more to look forward to, including the chance to trial Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, and a full set of downloads available for Twisted Metal 3 & 4.
The avatars are available for free using the codes above until September 10, when the anniversary celebrations draw to a close. Fortunately, the September PS Plus line-up also falls within the overall window for the anniversary, so there will be more on offer than there is in a normal month on the service.
