PlayStation Plus users can claim free Call of Duty DLC today, and it’s yours to keep forever, even if your subscription later expires. Happy days!
The Call of Duty series is one of the most popular and lucrative video game franchises on the planet, and with each new release that comes, it’s always a huge deal throughout the industry.
Granted, it’s been a bit hit and miss lately, especially with Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 widely missing the mark, but any new announcement is always an exciting time for fans nonetheless. While the latest game in the series hasn't been announced yet, with Summer Game Fest coming this June, hopefully, its big release is just weeks away, and we’ll keep you posted as soon as that information drops.
The free Call of Duty DLC in question is the ‘Warzone - PlayStation Plus Pack 6’, and it’s available exclusively to subscribers of Sony’s service. The DLC can be used in both the free-to-play Warzone and Black Ops 7.

In respect to only being available to PlayStation Plus subscribers, yes, it is. However, with Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops 7 being a cross-play title, if you’ve linked your account across all available platforms, this free DLC is cross-platform too.
Not according to its PlayStation Plus page. That being said, Sony and Activision could pull the free DLC at any point. So, it might be worth claiming it today, just in case.
“Call of Duty deserves so much better, and if there’s anything that I’ve learned from Black Ops 7, it's that the annual releases need to come to an end ASAP, so that the developers can have more time to ensure that each new release lives up to the legacy of this series that has been built over the last two decades,” I said in my review. “Hopefully, the next entry will get the series back on track.”
