While we’re still awaiting a remaster announcement, Bloodborne fans have an exciting month ahead in March.

Now approaching its tenth anniversary, Bloodborne has won the heart of the Soulsborne community.

With such a dedicated community behind it, players are continually finding ways to liven up the spirit of the game.

Bloodborne will be ten years old later this month.

But 24th March is a big date this year, as it coincides with the 10th anniversary of Bloodborne. Despite the lack of any sequel or remaster announcement, an event coming up towards the end of the month could be a reason to boot the game up again.

Return to Yharnam is an annual event run by the Bloodborne community. During it, players are encouraged to create new characters and help new players by playing as much co-op as possible.

Bloodborne fans have participated in Return to Yharnam every year since the game’s first anniversary, and typically takes place for two weeks over March and April.

In addition to helping new players, the Return to Yharnam organisers also use the event to reinvigorate the community, as well as remind FromSoftware how much love there still is for the game.

Return to Yharnam 2025 runs from 24th March to April 7th, and there’s even a neat little trailer posted over on X (formerly Twitter). You'll be able to take part in the event by owning the game on PS4, but PS5 players will still be able to join.

While playing through, Return to Yharnam’s organisers also encourage getting involved with the game’s Discord and Reddit communities. With so many people jumping back into FromSoftware’s masterpiece, there’s going to be an uptick in the amount of conversations surrounding the game.

Meanwhile, Sony still hasn’t acknowledged if a Bloodborne remaster will be happening or not. Considering remasters of titles like The Last of Us Part II and Horizon Zero Dawn have been successful for the company in the past, fans are certainly hopeful Bloodborne could be next on the slate.

Perhaps the recent strides made by the unofficial PC remaster modding team could kick Sony into gear.
